Proyecto SandBox Barcelona - Web ICALIA

Yesterday, Icalia participated in the presentation of Sandbox Barcelona, a project led by Bit Habitat and the Ajuntament de Barcelona. This initiative aims to create real environments where urban innovations can be tested to improve the quality of life in the city and establish Barcelona as a leader in sustainability and innovation.

Our CEO, Xavier Monzó, was present at the event as a member of the Plataforma d’Innovació Urbana (PIU) of Barcelona, supporting the initiative and sharing the vision of transforming the city with more sustainable and efficient solutions.

We would like to thank Laia Bonet, first deputy mayor, and Michael Donaldson, director of the Fundació Bit Habitat, for their dedication and effort in bringing this initiative to life, opening up new opportunities for all Barcelonans. This is just the beginning of a bigger change. Icalia continues to bet on a future where innovation is the key to building better cities.
